Meet the Owners

Thank you for considering us to care for your precious animal family! My name is Chelean Hood. We are a Christian family of six, with my husband of twenty-four years, four children and two dogs of our own. My childhood was filled with animal experiences from guinea pigs to goats; dogs, horses, and lots in between! As an adult, I have worked for two veterinarians, a groomer and a kennel. I also have volunteered as a foster home for Friends of Pets rescue group in Alaska and have assisted many people in teaching their dogs basic manners and obedience. One of the highlights in my experiences, however, was raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind Inc, San Rafael, CA. I was involved in this program for ten years and loved every minute of it! 

Animals are my calling. I am fascinated by all things animals. I immensely enjoy what I do now and sometimes feel like I must be cheating to be having this much fun! So here I am, at your service! My family and I are ready to love and care for your animal family members as if they were our own.
